Seaweed at HAS Food Experience

2020-02-11

Packaging material made from cow dung, pancakes for kids filled with vegetables, food products based on the bible and… a lot of seaweed! Last week our colleague Mila visited the HAS Food experience in Den Bosch. There, graduating students from the study Food Design present their graduation project.

The creativity was everywhere to be found! Also with seaweed. The students were recognising the versatility of seaweed and the power of seaweed as an ingredient. An example: seaweed was used in various projects either as a salt replacing product or as an alternative protein source. Also striking: its appearance in two categories: Green & Tech and Lifestyle & Health.

HAS Students challenged themselves to create products that tasted great, were healthy and sustainable. Every product looked great and Mila can assure you: every bite was very tasteful!
