About us
We are a non-profit foundation with an ANBI status. The foundation consists of our organisational team (execution), a board (control) and ambassadors (advice). Members of the board are: Marcel Schuttelaar (Schuttelaar & Partners) and Ton Menken (Menken van den Assem).
Our budget - for people and projects - are covered by project incomes, membership fees and donations.

CAN YOU GIVE US CONTACT DETAILS OR COMPANY NAMES?
At North Sea Farmers we don’t work by providing company names or contacts. You can check who the current North Sea Farmers members are on our website and have an idea from there who we directly collaborate with, but further than that – getting different and appropriate players in touch, setting up collaborations between different parties and other networking efforts – is something we do exclusively for our supporting members. CAN YOU DELIVER SEAWEED TO US?
Our name would suggest that we farm seaweed ourselves, but this is not the case. We are a member based sector organization. We do have contact information of people who do cultivate seaweed. We, however, do not have seaweed ourselves.
PUBLIC BENEFIT ORGANIZATION (ANBI)
Our foundation, Noordzeeboerderij, has the status of a Public Benefit Organization (ANBI). This means that the Tax Administration recognizes us as an organization that is dedicated to the public benefit. As a result, donors can benefit from tax advantages on a one-time large donation.
TAX BENEFITS FOR MAJOR DONATIONS
When you make a large donation to our Foundation, it qualifies for a tax deduction. This means that the amount of your gift is deducted from your taxable income, which may result in a lower income tax liability.
SUPPORT SOCIAL GOALS
The tax benefit is a way for the government to reward your support of social causes. This allows you to make a greater impact with your donation because you pay less net. In this way, you contribute to the mission of Stichting Noordzeeboerderij (North Sea Farmers) and at the same time benefit from tax advantages. Would you like to know more?
