We are thrilled to announce that our co-founder, Eef Brouwers, has been recognized as one of the most influential leaders driving business climate action and has been listed in the Time100 Climate 2025.
The jury appreciated his enormous efforts, perseverance, and leadership in realizing the first commercial seaweed farm in an offshore wind farm off the Dutch coast. Through this groundbreaking project, The European Seaweed Association shows that expanding the seaweed industry in offshore wind farms is possible, enabling a significant impact on sustainability, food security, health systems, and employment. This recognition will help us continue to highlight the unprecedented possibilities of seaweed.
