Open Climate Solutions is a Swiss non-profit organisation whose mission is to develop nature-based climate solutions that also support biodiversity and create benefits for society. They believe seaweed is one of those solutions, and their ambition is to standardize seaweed farming and do research on bio-stimulants and biochar as nature-based climate solutions.

Open Climate Solutions is a Swiss non-profit organisation whose mission is to develop nature-based climate solutions that also support biodiversity and create benefits for society.
The information that we generate we will make an open source and allow its intellectual property to be linked by our partners. As we are a non-profit organisation, we hope to encourage collaboration, as we open source information to help other for-profit companies in the seaweed space to build their businesses.
OCS was founded in 2022. It has a team of three people and are currently working with 15 people across the value chain, including researchers.
